Welcome to the world Finn Arnold! As you can see he is very well loved I think the boy is always being held by someone. He's a perfect addition to the family!!
Also in the last few weeks my call finally arrived! here is me opening the envelope.....
here is me reading where I am to spend the next 18 months of my life....(what the picture fails to show it how much I'm shaking & the room full of people that came to support me we were spilling out into the hall) 
and here is me handing my call to mom & dad to read because I was just to excited to read it aloud. So drum role please...... for the next 18 months I will be serving in the Thailand, Bangkok Mission! I leave for the Provo MTC December 17th! ( I will post addresses before I leave for those interested in writing me!)The Waiting Place...

Well this is the point in my life that I have hit! The papers are officially in, so its just a matter of weeks before we find out where i will be serving the next 18 months! However as most of you know that is not the only thing that is being waited for at the moment. Yesterday was Finns due date and he decided that was not the day to come, so we are also waiting for this baby! The waiting place is not a fun place to be I'm sure many of you are in that same place. There always seems to be something that we are waiting for although it seems like the waiting can't be avoided let us go back to the wise words of Dr. Seuss ...

Waiting is not for us! there is far to much to be done. To bad i can't make the call come any faster so I will do my best to wait with patients know that I will be out of the waiting place soon and on to a great place!

With a percentage like that it looks like I have a good shot at succeeding. I hate to put you all in the waiting place with me but look forward to the next post in 2-3 weeks when I will have good news to share with all! Until then may you all be on your way to move your own mountains! Oh and if there is any baby Finn news I will let you all know!
Well my friends "The time has come the walrus said, to talk of many things, of shoes-- and ships-- and sealing-wax --of cabbages and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot-- and whether pigs have wings." so there are 19 days until my mission papers go in! Now the big question is... Where does the lord have need of me? I've been thinking about this lots and I have come to the conclusion that my mission was picked out for me long before i even decided to serve so i guess it doesn't really matter where, i'd just like to go! However if any of you have insight as to where i might be going please fill free to share, i'd love to hear what everyone else thinks. We will know in less the a month!!! one very long and scary month!
Summers been busy! carson hasn't been to visit since june and i miss him lots so i thought i'd better put in a picture of us so he remembers his "aunt Tabi" (even though he has a "don't cross me" look on his face.)
We have spent tons of time at the pool, Scarlet is a real fish! she had so much fun with her new best friends Maddi and Megan she even loved seeing baby porter.
we also went to the moon, Scarlet loved it I think she would have stayed there all day if i'd let her.
We have been to the Zoo lots, this particular day we went with my friend Leslie and her 4 kids and we also brought along some of the neighbors kids, it was a real party! Sophie was so Sweet to Scarlet they were best friends all day!
Aw this summer was also girls camp! it was very different going back as a leader, I had so much fun, I think hannah did too! girls camp is always a blast! 
Its been a busy month, Carson came up for a visit we had lots of fun. Scarlet loves it when he comes to play, He also helped feed his Aunt Tabi some yogurt! Its always so much fun to see Carson! I miss him tons he grows so much every time I see him, he may have his crabby moments but he is such a fun boy and so sweet!--- My friend Mary also got home from her mission, "The Club" is back together again! ( well at least for a night we were). ---Last but not least A.J. is learning to deal with the fact that he has to share Ian with someone else, I think its going pretty well. Over all its been a very busy month but very fun as well! I'm so glad its summer and there is time for all this crazy stuff but it sure feels like the summer is going far to fast!

We spend lots of time working on our letters! Scarlet is really getting good at writing notes on the fridge. She's getting pretty smart, fridge magnets are one of our favorite parts of the day. I really have the best job in the whole world!
I think everyone waits for Saturday nights, people act like they should be big nights full of parties and friends. I wait for my Saturday nights too, they are often full of a party and friends. Just a little bit different then most would think. See my nights are spent with some of my favorite kids in the whole world, Thatcher, Walker, Sophie, and Sammy. I don't think there is anywhere else I'd rather be on a Saturday night. We always have fun and usually end the night with a great movie like "Karate Kid". I'm often told that I should get out and do more with my Saturday night, but who would pass up a night with their best friends? I always find it best to be with the people who love you most, the ones who make you laugh and the ones you can just be yourself with. These kids are that for me, Its the highlight of my week when we get to all play. they are a huge part of my life, so there is no question for me, when it comes to a Saturday night. I'm going to be where I have fun, where I feel loved and needed. Saturday Nights are the best night of the week, I think even the kids would agree!
